Visual Thinking

Visual thinking, scribing and graphic recording to facilitate meetings, workshops and innovation processes.

What is visual thinking?

We think in images. Our brain remembers better what it sees than what it hears or reads. That is why we pay more attention to those who draw, show or build with their hands than to those who only talk. The visual thinking o visual thinking is a powerful tool for capturing ideas, structuring information and facilitating collective understanding. Through live drawing, we convert abstract ideas into visible, ordered and meaningful forms for all participants.

What is graphic recording or scribing?
Graphic recording, also known as scribing or visual facilitation, is the technique of visually capturing what happens in real time during a meeting, workshop, roundtable or participatory process. While people talk, we draw live what they say: key concepts, connections, memorable phrases and collective emotions. We do this on a physical panel with markers, or digitally from an iPad, either in person or remotely. The result is a visual mural that reflects the essence of the meeting and serves as a shared memory, useful synthesis and reusable material.
What do we offer with this service?
We offer a professional service of live visual facilitation, with a specialised illustrator who works in parallel to your dynamics, accompanying the flow of the group and generating a visual map of the collective thought. This work improves attention, stimulates participation, orders complex ideas and generates a relaxed, playful and creative atmosphere. It is ideal for internal sessions as well as for public events, training, conferences or innovation processes.
How do we do it?
We join the organising team to understand the context, the objectives and the type of session. From there, we plan the visual support (physical or digital), the listening frames, the graphic style and the pace of work. We work with a facilitative approach, not just as illustrators: we accompany the process so that the drawing becomes part of the collective thinking, not just a decorative record.

Versions and common uses of our visual thinking service

Real-time visual prototyping

We offer a service of visual prototyping in co-creation sessions with teams or users. As people imagine and define products, services or experiences, we draw them live. We help to visualise for the first time the appearance of a proposal, understand its structure or explore how an idea or space will evolve. This work is key in service design processes, public innovation, brand development or early testing of solutions.

Tangible or physical prototyping

We also design and facilitate tangible prototyping or where we create bespoke physical objects to enable teams to think with their hands. We use manipulable materials and structures specifically designed to represent processes, ideas or experiences, thus facilitating understanding, dialogue and decision-making. This modality is especially useful when we want to experiment with undefined concepts, explore user paths, imagine spaces or simulate services in collaborative environments. Thinking by doing allows ideas to be brought down to earth and encourages creativity from the concrete.

Visual facilitation for collaborative sessions

We actively participate in strategic planning workshops, participatory sessions, focus groups or creative dynamics, facilitating the collective construction of knowledge through drawing. The mural we generate acts as a visual summary, a decision-making tool and a starting point for next steps.

Graphic recording for events, presentations or conferences

We capture live the most important ideas of a day, a series of talks or a round table. The drawing accompanies the words, amplifies the key messages and leaves a powerful visual reminder of the event. You can use the result in networks, newsletters or as a graphic memory for participants.

Digital Scribing for online or hybrid sessions

If your event is virtual, we work from our studio with digital tools, sharing the drawing in real time via Zoom, Miro, or any platform. The result is just as powerful and can be easily integrated into your post-event materials.

Why choose us?

We have experience in accompanying complex processes with a visual, creative and strategic approach. We not only illustrate, but also listen, synthesise and give shape to the ideas that emerge. Our way of working is close, adaptable and focused on generating real value for the teams. Drawing becomes a tool for communication, connection and collective construction.
